The much-anticipated follow-up to Zoombinis Logical Journey is here! In this new adventure, the lovable Zoombinis must rescue some of their fellow friends from the dark depths of a strange mountain cave, meeting the strange-yet-friendly Boolies along the way. But watch out: the Fleens are back and full of tricks! As with Logical Journey, students create and move teams of Zoombinis through a colorful, puzzle-filled terrain. Mountain Rescue includes nine challenging puzzles that tackle mathematical thinking in networks, permutations, binary numbers, operations, and more. With three levels of difficulty, even adults will find this program challenging! Best of all, teachers can track student progress through each activity with the introduction of Enhanced Educator Version (EEV) functionality.

Zoombinis Mountain Rescue's innovative approach to teaching essential mathematical and logical thinking skills without numbers makes it an appropriate and effective program in our information age of computer programming and data organizing. Each puzzle was developed to correspond with NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) standards. Mountain Rescue was co-developed by TERC (Technical Education Research Center).
